Custody evaluators in the State of California are required to receive 4 hours of continuing education in the area of Domestic Violence. Even if you are not an evaluator, clinicians can benefit from a better understanding of the complexities that often present when assisting a family that has experienced domestic violence. Dr. Lori Love's new Custody Evaluator's course; Intimate Partner Violence: Where We Have Been and Where We Are Headed empowers custody evaluators with the information needed to help protect children in homes with domestic violence.

The Steve Frankel Group LLC., Dr. Lori Love and Edward Castro Esq., are partnering to create this course to train participants to understand the historical and theoretical background of intimate partner violence and domestic violence. The course also helps develop competence in the procedures for assessing intimate partner violence.

Registration for the online course costs $120 and can be taken and used at anytime for 1-year from the date of purchase. The course fulfills 4.0 hours of CE Credit requirements for Psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs, and Licensed Professional Counselors in most states. This course is perfect for full and part-time private practitioners and agency employees.

The course will be taken using high-speed online streaming videos where participants will learn how to empirically link their collected data so they are prepared to make recommendations to the court.
